Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) is the acidic precursor to cannabidiol (CBD) and is most abundantly found in the glandular trichomes in the raw cannabis and hemp plant. Through the process of decarboxylation, a process where cannabinoids are exposed to heat, CBDA converts to CBD.
